About
The Trice Legacy Foundation was created from a tragic event to promote and do good. Jack Trice’s life was ended before he could cement his legacy. He wanted to help educate his race and community by creating a culture around family and doing better each day. Iowa State is where the legacy was started, but his goal was to teach further than just the Iowa borders. His accomplishments on the field are why we know his name; the foundation recognizes him for more than just football. Our advisory board follows his path by doing more than their part.
Mission
To increase the African-American student enrollment at universities and colleges in the state of Iowa

By finishing Jack Trice's plan to help communities and families through education, we will help kids and young adults leave their legacy by breaking through obstacles they will face.
